Pool nights

POOL NIGHTS ARE CURRENTLY OFF! We’re enjoying the summer nights out on Te Awa Kairangi instead, and will be back in the pool sometime after daylight saving.

Hutt Valley Canoe Club pool nights (in association with Kupe Canoe Club) are on Wednesdays in the autumn, winter and spring, in the pool by 7:45pm – and out by 8:45pm at the Freyburg Pool and Fitness Centre, Wellington.

Please contact us if you are planning to attend, as we need to make sure there are enough experienced Hutt Valley Canoe Club members available and confirm numbers for the pool nights.

Pool nights are in association with the Kupe Canoe Club, who have opened their pool nights up to our Club Members as a welcome gesture of support for the overall paddling community.

Please bring $5 cash for the pool hire, payable to the HVCC or Kupe organiser on the night and pay for pool entry at reception. We have kayaks, spray skirts and paddles available, but you may wish to wear a thermal tshirt and bring goggles and a nose plug.
